Do you have a loved one who is mad about penguins? Or maybe you fancy treating yourself to a well-deserved Christmas gift?
This amazing 45 minute Penguin Experience gives you the opportunity to meet and hand-feed Lincolnshire’s only Humboldt Penguins. You will accompany one of our friendly zoo-keepers down to our ‘Penguin Rocks’ enclosure, where you will learn all about the daily food preparation and also our state-of-the-art filtration system. After this, the real fun begins!
You and a small group (maximum of 6) will enter the actual penguin enclosure (not behind a fence or a window!) and hand-feed our colony of Humboldt Penguins. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get up close and personal with our most popular species at Woodside.
Enjoy the opportunity to:
- Learn all about the daily food preparation for our colony of Humboldt Penguins.
- Discover how our state-of-the-art filter system keeps the pool nice and clean.
- Hand feed our cheeky Humboldt Penguins!
Photos and videos are encouraged, and if you need an extra hand, your accompanying keeper will be more than happy to take them for you.
Please note, these vouchers are valid for 10 months from date of purchase, and the experiences are usually held on a Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
